Sadly, this has become more and more common — not just in films and music, but in books, TV series, podcasts, and other media. Even works by brilliant authors and talented creators can contain this disrespectful trend.

For me, this is more than a personal irritation — it’s a matter of honoring the name above all names. The Bible tells us to revere and cherish the name of Jesus, not to treat it as casual or profane.

Why BlasphemyCheck Exists
I wanted a single place where Christians could check in advance whether a book, show, movie, or song contains blasphemy — especially the misuse of the name of Jesus — before spending money or investing time. Too often, I’ve bought something only to be disappointed and unable to finish it.

This site is here to:
